I'm both lucky and unlucky ulit. Haaay. This is really confusing. I'm tired and sick of it. So, my parents went home from Manila today. They knew my grades and though they were quite low, they didn't made any punishments! Haha. That's good. I woke up really early, around 5:20 am. So that I could be earlier than Jenny. And our teachers said that we'll have a forum about our batch name, color and logo. So around 7:45, all freshmen went to the AVR. Fast forward... Our meeting concluded that our batch color will be hot pink and our batch name will be Apocalypse. Excuse me? Wahaha. I hate our batch name. Our batch coordinator said that we shouldn't complain, but where's the freedom of speech in that? I almost shed tears, when my vote, Nephytys (tama po ba ang spelling?), didn't won. I think most of our batch hate that Apocalypse name. Duh? Do you think you could carry that for 4 years? but for your information, Apocalypse suggests total destruction, catastrophe, disaster! What would other year lvels think of us, war freaks? Haaay. My vote is better. It's the Egyptian word for phoenix. And well, we think that would match us. Because, if we lost, we'll have our revenge and do our best to win. Plus, a phoenix lives for a long period of time, so that mean, our bonding will never end. If only they'll use their minds. But one really lucky thing about today, is that my sister let me borrow her phone. Wala pang kulitan yan ha! It was like, "Ate, pahiram ng cellphone mo." And she instanly replied,"Sige, di naman ako papasok bukas." Haha. How fun. So, here are the pics.

the art of doing nothing

I'm bored. Just sitting in our couch thinking of what may happen tomorrow. I'm lazy. I can't move my fat body. I'm paralyzed. I can hardly move. What's happening to me? Baliw na ata ako.

We've got no assignment in school so had nothing to do this weekends. My parents are in Manila. And I'm enjoying my freedom here at home. But I'm bored! Huhuhu.

friday freeday

My title was supposed to be Friday mishaps because I woke up so late, at around 6:15 AM. But I wasn't late naman. Thank God. Since tomorrow's our Distirbution of Cards, everyone was getting ready. I already know our batch's honors and 3 of my closest friends are included. Congrats to Lala, Meggie and Charm! I'm so nervous about my grades. Especially in Math and AP. Ma'am Bosch (our class adviser) said that half of our class got line of 7 in Math. She also told me that my grades went down. Arrgh. Haaay. I just hope I won't get 79 and below. A flat 80 is fine with me. Pag nagka-70 ako, baka bukas, di ko na masilayan ang araw. If I do, that could turn to not attending Jenny's birthday bash, getting grounded and lesser or worse, never using the computer again. Haaay. I can't live that way. Just wish me luck.

PS. The students of our school must get at least an average of 85 or else will be kicked out.

Less of that pressure and more of carefreeness. Since everyone was busy, icluding our teachers, classes were kinda irregular. Our last 2 periods were vacant so my friends and I, did what we're suppose to do. Have fun! We had a talk about *toot* because she was transforming again.

I'm in recovery. Yesterday, the whole me was totally in pain. But now, I'm back into action. Hehehe. What a relief. But this week, I've constantly been having severe headaches. Really painful ones. Like it will crack your head.

Last week, I had my first highschool enemy. It's even a guy. Pano kasi, ang yabang-yabang! Ang sama pa ng budhi! But now we're good. He's such a coward. He said sorry through Friendster. Hmmp, what a scaredy-cat. Pano ba naman, he asked me,"Oi, Nica, may crush ka sa 'kin diba?." What the hell. Ang yabang talaga..

In a short period of time, I've undergo some changes. Changes that made me better and me wonder.

1. I'm more dedicated to my studies, which is so not me.
2. I'm not easily tempted by the soothing feeling brought by the TV.
3. I had a new hairstyle.
4. Which resulted to a louder voice? It's what my friends say. But I don't notice it myself.
5. I'm stressing myself by sleeping late almost everyday.
6. I've strenghten my faith in God (that's the best part).
7. I'm more evil. Mwahahahahaha.
8. I had more expressions. (Ay buhay, I hate you)

That's not all. I just forgot some. Haaay. I'll go now. I'll catch a Sunday mass with my family (see?). Bye!

Finally, after a decade, I've posted here again. I really miss this blog. It's been... 11 days! Hahaha. At least it's more than a week.

The main reason why I haven't been updating my blog, is my hectic schedule at school. Sure, my Mutya days are over, but another catastrophe came. This week was our exam. If not for that stupid Milenyo, we would be having our exam on the month October, days before the semestral break. But because of Milenyo our school didn't have electricity for a week, so the talent presentation was cancelled. It was moved, then cancelled again. I really hate it. Anyways, back to our exam week. And so. We had a lot of projects and homeworks with the same deadlines! Talk about pressure! Plus, it was given a week before the exam! Instead of using that time for studying, we were busy looking for examples of simple machines and researching the parts of a book and a newspaper. But today, all of that pressure, that sleepless nights, was finally over. And we're starting a new quarter. How about another sem break?

So let me tell you about our exam.

1ST DAY, NOVEMBER 9, 2006, THURSDAY
Values Education: Ahhh. This one's not really hard. It's even probably the easiest. Hahaha. I didn't even study, because I lost my Val Ed notebook. And it's still on the loose till now. The test had options or choices so it was easy to choose the answer.

Science and Technology: Well, unexpectedly the test was fine. Our summative test was even way harder. Though I forgot some of the details, I just choose the nearest answer. I hope I pass this one.

TLE: The exam was just about HTML and Internet blah-blahs. Since I've got some experience or knowledge about it, it was a bit easy. I just got confused between "img src" and "img href" . What's the difference anyway?

2ND DAY, NOVEMBER 10, 2006, FRIDAY
Filipino: It was quite fine. But if I'll fail, I'll gladly accept it because I didn't reviewed that much. Ermm.. Though the Ibong Adarna part was ity bitsy easy.

Math: The hardest of them all. Hahaha. We checked the papers right away and I already have my score. But there was this number I really regret. It was just one point but it mean a lot to me. Hahaha. At first my answer was 19x-5. But then I recheck it, and decided that it's suppose to be 19x+5. But I forgot to change it. Huhuhuhu. :(

3RD DAY, NOVEMBER 11, 2006, SATURDAY

Welcome back to me! It's been a week since my last post. Guess I've been busy doing useless stuff. Well, if you'll ask, I've recently read 4 books. They are Sara Nickles' Lying, Cheating and Stealing, Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code, Greg Iles' Dead Sleep and Bob Ong's Bakit Baliktad Magbasa Ng Libro Ang Mga Pilipino? Plus I've watch a lot of movies. Some of them are Skeleton Key and Meet the Fockers.

I've been unluckily fortunate or fortunately unlucky this day. Which means I'm both

LUCKY
I woke up at 5:30 in the morning without my sister's alarm.
I got to see my friends again. I miss them so much.
Our MAPEH exam was postponed! Ma'am Labao wasn't around or late (again).
We were dismissed early (3:30 pm).
We were given a token from the Mutya competition.
I laughed a lot. Cam-cam, Gab and Vince was just so silly.
I got good results in my English and Filipino tests. (33/40 and 32/40)
No classes tomorrow!

UNLUCKY
Wain and Marvel saw my Val Ed masterpiece.
My teeth hurts! My mom adjusted my braces.
